Joan’s interest in real estate began years ago when she began investing in land and rental property in the Pocono Mountains near her native New Jersey. On a trip to purchase property for retirement in South Carolina, Joan was offered a job working for the developer of a new community in Bluffton, just outside of Hilton Head Island.
